To provide a neutral platform, indifferent to brands, online/offline purchases, and service locations. Our goal is to revolutionize customer engagement for brands and reward loyalty, promoting a sustainable cycle of asset ownership.
Our Evolution
While our initial objective focused on optimizing the lifespan of appliances and gadgets, our journey quickly revealed a more profound need — safeguarding the assets within households. Recognizing the low awareness surrounding home insurance and home contents insurance, we decided to pivot and digitally transform this entire process through Azzetta.
Azzetta as FinTech – InsuranceTech
Azzetta emerges as a FinTech-InsuranceTech app, currently incubated by FinBlue Incubator under STPI, Chennai. Our primary focus lies in the untapped market for home contents insurance under the Bharat Griha Raksha (BGR) policy, as outlined by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
Our Social Impact
We aim to address the needs of lower-income households by introducing a social objective — coverage sponsored by corporates under CSR funds. The BGR policy covers 14 perils outlined in general insurance, impacting lower-income households disproportionately. By protecting their possessions, we hope to contribute to their quick recovery from any unfortunate events.
Financial Inclusion and Beyond
Azzetta seeks to play a role in financial inclusion, akin to the Government of India programs in life insurance, benefiting over 36 crore people. To ensure the viability of our venture, we plan to integrate BGR into corporate employee benefits programs, aligning it with Group Health Insurance and Group Accident Insurance already offered by many companies.
